Beauty school is designed to teach the foundation of the industry, which is the science of hair, nails, and skin sanitation and safety, state board requirements, and the core principles needed to become licensed. It lays the groundwork, but it is not meant to fully prepare you for real-world salon execution, confidence behind the chair, or career sustainability.
